ABOUT YOUR ROLE
- Seek and maximise revenue opportunities and minimise costs at every opportunity
- Ensure the team provides the highest levels of service to every customer either in shop or through delivery
- Ensure Product quality and presentation is maintained to an excellent standard.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of products and encourage staff to develop their product knowledge
- Manage the recruitment process and trial shifts when required.
- Provide leadership in building a team within the shop which will enable it to meet or exceed targets and achieve bonus.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures in relation to HR are fully implemented, communicated and understood by all staff
- Identify coaching and training opportunities to improve individual and team performance
- Manage and maximise sales and profit budgets.
- Ensure that the restaurant is open and adequately staffed during the trading hours required
- Ensure that controllable costs such as food costs, labour, chemicals and disposables are kept to a minimum without compromising standards and customer experience.
- Ensure that deliveries are checked and documented upon receipt for correct quality and quantity and display and store delivered goods as required
- Maintain stock levels within acceptable limits and audit/rotate daily stocks of perishable goods.
- Action relevant H&S legislation to Company required standards and ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and
- Ensure that standards of uniform, behaviour and personal presentation are compatible with the Company's desired public image and values.
- Ensure that the shop administrative, legal and regulatory requirements are carried out to the Operational standards.
- Attend training courses / meetings when required.
- Undertake such duties as may reasonably be required by Senior Management
your skills and qualifications
- Management experience in customer facing environment within food/hospitality industry
- Food Safety and H&S Level 2 minimum
- Ideally First Aid trained
- Good Planning and Organisational skills
- Be able to manage, motivate and coach teams
- Totally customer focused and passionate about the business
- Results driven with a proven track record of performance
- Computer literate
- Results driven with a proven track record of performance
- Good communication skills and fluent English
- Calm under pressure
