ABOUT YOUR ROLE
- Ensure the team provide the highest levels of service to every customer either in shop or through delivery
- Supervises the Team Members, verifying that their workstations are stocked neat and orderly
- Performance manage all under and over achieving Team Members to create the right harmony within the team
- Help identify coaching and training opportunities to improve individual and team performance
- Ensure product quality and presentation is maintained to an excellent standard
- Operate Trial Shifts when required
- Manage orders, control and return stock in accordance with Company Procedures
- Ensure that deliveries are checked and documented upon receipt for correct quality and quantity and display and store delivered goods as required
- Manage and maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees and Store assets by implementing and maintaining loss prevention and safety policies and procedures
- Support the delivery of the shop business strategies, with the support of key departments
- Ensure the shop is kept clean and tidy through good housekeeping, maintaining high hygiene standards and safe working practices in line with the Company Health and Safety policy
- Action relevant H&S legislation to Company required standards and ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action
- Ensure that standards of Team Members’ uniform, behaviour and personal presentation are compatible with the Company's desired public image and values
- Attend training courses / meetings when required
- Undertake such duties as may reasonably be required by Management
